Welcome back to the Fulfillment Mindset series.

If this is your first article or if you’ve yet to begin the work to shift your current perspective on life — start here. The linked piece will offer you some foundation.

Doing the work to unlearn habits and narratives, keeping us stagnant, is no easy feat, nor a process I take lightly; so, I want to remind you of a gift called grace. It’s one many of us don’t receive often and is better experienced when given to ourselves. Remember, we are humans having a human experience. It’s OK to fall short sometimes or lose momentum. What matters is how you recover and the tools used to soothe yourself from the fallout.

In the previous articles, we defined fulfillment and outlined internal and external barriers that can cause setbacks on this journey. Having the information to arm ourselves helps us stay ready so we don’t have to get ready; however, we can’t spend all our time dodging triggers. We have to be equally sowing seeds to build our garden of joy and fulfillment. This is how we nurture, grow, and scale these feelings and experiences to lead us to embodiment.

So, how do we design a goal post that allows us to cultivate a fulfilled mind?Let’s start with a metric.
