I’m glad I came to the comments first before I responded because I was coming here to say this. In addition to what you’ve said, it’s important for non-Black persons to understand the context of the words they hear on social media, which is usually AAVE posited as “social media speak” or Gen-Z language when it’s not. I echo your sentiments, Sandra, with coming together to call out hypocritical and misogynistic behavior, and in the same vein, folks have to do a little bit more digging when they hear “universal phrases” that aren’t universal.
